I’m calling everybody to have response about the documentary who published by RedFish. Islamic National Television of Iran made this documentary few months ago for RT Chanel. in this documentary they show all of the economic problems cams from US sanctions and people are behind of regime and they struggle against imperialism!

They have seized the opportunity provided by the US sanctions to realize their neoliberal dreams in order to be able to both recover the current budget deficit and increase their military operations in the region. To do so, they have shut down the internet by virtue of which they have brutally slaughtered their opponents. Internationally speaking, there has been no specific media coverage, no international condemnation of the state repression, and very little solidarity from the global left — in other words, the bloodbath is carried out in silence. This is possible because, while the oppressed classes in Iran and the Middle East have no illusion about the “anti-imperialist” role of the Islamic Republic, many on the left still believe in the ideological self-representation of the regime as an anti-imperialist force standing against the US and its regional allies.»
I’m calling you to respond to this dark side of the leftist movement. this is the historical time for all of us to understand where we are in this history. Marxism is a criticism, a criticism of capitalist society, rather than a corpus of tenets and prophesies. This criticism itself is, of course, based on a rigorous analysis of the foundations of the system and its inner contradictions. why this criticism about Iran is silent?
and why I’m calling you to respond. we must understand people are looking to the left again. left is the hope. we must break this silence and express its solidarity with the people of Iran and their resistance. not even that. we need to fight with the bourgeois socialism. this is the moment we have to stand up say no to all of this kind of socialism or communism who actually are not!
The Socialistic bourgeois want all the advantages of modern social conditions without the struggles and dangers necessarily resulting therefrom. They desire the existing state of society, minus its revolutionary and disintegrating elements. They wish for a bourgeoisie without a proletariat. The bourgeoisie naturally conceives the world in which it is supreme to be the best; and bourgeois Socialism develops this comfortable conception into various more or less complete systems. In requiring the proletariat to carry out such a system, and thereby to march straightway into the social New Jerusalem, it but requires in reality, that the proletariat should remain within the bounds of existing society, but should cast away all its hateful ideas concerning the bourgeoisie.
A second, and more practical, but less systematic, form of this Socialism sought to depreciate every revolutionary movement in the eyes of the working class by showing that no mere political reform, but only a change in the material conditions of existence, in economical relations, could be of any advantage to them. By changes in the material conditions of existence, this form of Socialism, however, by no means understands abolition of the bourgeois relations of production, an abolition that can be affected only by a revolution, but administrative reforms, based on the continued existence of these relations; reforms, therefore, that in no respect affect the relations between capital and labour, but, at the best, lessen the cost, and simplify the administrative work, of bourgeois government.
Finally, with the massive mass uprisings in Iran, a new combative generation flourishes on streets, factories, workplaces and universities, despite the oppressive conditions of the country, over the past two years. There is not a left or socialist alternative in the country or in the exile that make everything more difficult. And, despite this difficulties, workers, laborers, peasants, poor people, students and women fight for their future and do not step back from their demands. The slogan, “The rationalists and reformers, your adventure is over” that emerged during uprisings of the poor in 2018, has reached another dimension in the Iranian streets these days. However, the rulers of the Islamic Republic are now even harsher in response to the popular uprisings ,which have reached a new each time. In implementing all these policies of repression and punishment, each time they forget the classic expression of the director even more: You can rule with bayonet, but you cannot sit on it!
A recently surfaced video shows Sepideh Gholian, a labor rights activist who was arrested shortly after her protest, holding a sign that reads: “You increased the price of fuel. Did you also increase the incomes?” Gholian’s simple question not only targets today’s corrupt policies towards impoverishment and weakening of society, refers to the hopes and dreams that led to the 1979 Revolution. The revolutionary hope that the IRI still finds intractable, and in turn uses crises to justify policies that stand against them. As Ernst Bloch wrote in 1998: “For if hope could be annihilated, that is, if it could literally be made nihilistic, it would never have proved so intractable to those despots who represent its opposite.” [2] Behind Gholian’s question, Samad Behrangi’s “Latif,” and Ali Shariati’s “Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari” stand, and the dreams and hopes that were whispered (or screamed) by the former generations that led to the 1979 Revolution. While their hopes have been disappointed, they have not been annihilated, as they are recorded in Gholian’s video and all other videos that never got the chance to be shared online in the past few days of the outage. more…
